woo hoo! i'm so happy! i finally got this done this morning... managed to get it all to fit in the closet - that is except for two rolling cases (so i brought one that i don't use as often downstairs) and a big bag. the living room looks so empty now : ) of course, there are still three other cabinets; one holds the finished albums and albums in progress, one for idea books and magazines and one cabinet has cardstock, adhesives, cards, memory boxes for each of us.

i think it looks good! and it will be so easy to find stuff now! everything has a place. i couldn't get a picture of the whole closet - you can't see the top shelf. when you look at it from inside, the albums that are on it go all the way to the ceiling. now that's making use of available space!

i just love sitting here, even if i'm not actually scrapbooking . it's a perfect spot to do other stuff, i was sitting there with the laptop yesterday when i was making new labels for my hanging folders. i plan on spending a lot more time here now with this new setup.

thanks! guy and the kids are still commenting on how much more space there is in the living room now and how much bigger it seems : )
guy doesn't mind that i have to take out a few things and get spread out when i'm scrapbooking - as long as it all goes back in!

in case you're wondering what is in all these containers...
    (i'll start at the bottom)
the rolling carts stores paper/stickers/diecuts by manufacturer (for those that i have a lot of or like) as well as paper/stickers/diecuts (that are cartoony, like my mind's eye and provo craft's old stuff) by theme.
one of the zippered cases on the floor houses my letter stickers and the other houses my templates.
the wooden chest of drawers (from ikea) holds my embellishments (fiber, ribbon, buttons, eyelets, brads, etc.) by colour.
the purple drawers holds my rubber stamps, while ink pads and embossing powder are in the black boxes just above that.
i have tags in one of the wicker baskets and clear acrylic embellisments in the other wicker basket. the black creative memory pouches holds my punches, organized by type of punch in each pouch (one is circle and square punches, one is corner punches, one is regular punches, etc.)
top shelf holds all my empty albums, page protectors.

well that's for a general idea of where my stuff is.
